Stroke of Genius

Isn't this a fun card!  Our Playful Palette designer series paper comes in 6" x 6" and you can make 2 of these cards from each piece.  First, cut at 4".  Take that 4" x 6" and cut it into six 1" x 4" pieces.  This will give you enough for 2 card fronts.  Now, take the remaining 2" x 6" piece and cut that into three 2" squares.  Cut those on the diagonal to get the pieces for the inside and an extra piece for the card front.  I love when you can use every inch of the pretty paper we have without any waste!
And isn't that thumb tack the best!  So cute!  It just adds a sense of whimsey which I adore.  A little 1/8" gold ribbon that was taped to the back and then a bow was glue dotted to the front and that finishes off the card front.
Oh - I and didn't even mention our Layering Squares framelits.  Those are the bomb!!  There are so many sizes to choose from so it's great to get just the size you need for your project.  There are both straight squares and scallop squares so you have choices, choices, choices!!  These are a MUST HAVE for every paper crafter's closet.

Here is what the inside looks like with the corners added.  Fun, huh?
