It took me a while to warm up to this Lost Lagoon color but I have to say now I'm going to miss this when it retires at the end of this month. So for now - I'm just going to enjoy it!
This is just a fun and quick card using a number of items that will be soon retiring - sniff, sniff... I love how the Basic Gray just works so well with this whole nautical look. A little ribbon behind the compass stamp and it really looks great.
Well you KNOW I have to add SOMETHING on the inside right? Hey - it just finishes it off for me. ;-)

This card goes together so quickly and has a great masculine look to it - perfect for Father's Day! I embossed the 3" x 4-1/4" piece of Island Indigo cardstock using the World Traveler embossing folder then sponged Island Indigo ink over just that section before attaching it to the card base.
The white string behind the sentiment is from our White Jute that has been torn away to form just the string.
The banner is cut using the Large Numbers Framelits Dies.
A little something for the inside of the card and this one is good to go!

I love the warmth of this card. I've been hitting my local farmers market a lot these days so I think this card just sang to me. I'm really going to miss this Mossy Meadow card stock!!

I'm so sad to be seeing this Washi Tape punch go on our retiring list. I think it is such a fun little punch and here is a cute idea that you can do with it. I punched out all of the little pieces from the Cherry On Top designer Series Paper and attached them onto a piece of 2" x 3-1/4" piece of card stock and then tied the thick baker's twine around it before lifting it up with Stampin' Dimensionals. The background was stamped with Gorgeous Grunge to give it the splattered look.
