I had so much fun putting these note cards together using all of our new In Colors. With a quick triangle cut (4-7/8" x 3-3/8" Basic Black cut on the angle) and then adding the Flourish die cut it went together quite quickly. This is the Emerald Envy card.

And this is what the inside of all of them look like - with the right corresponding colors. With our new Precision Plate and Die Cut brush the dies come out so nicely.

This past weekend I was fortunate enough to go to friends "shoebox swap". This is where each person designs a card and puts all the stamps and tools into a "shoebox" and then each attendee gets to make everyone else's cards. It was an absolute BLAST! This was one of the cards that we got to make. Isn't it so pretty? Sheila Lucas designed and brought this card to the group and I loved it so much I came home and make 8 more!
The hash marked paper is from the Playful Palettes designer series paper and the swirls are from the Swirly Bird set punched out with the 1" punch. The swirly lines are from the Swirly Scribbles Thinlits and the corners were cut out using the retired Curvy Corner Trio punch.

This is a fast and easy card that comes together very quickly. The two inside pieces are measured at:
Indigo Island: 1-1/2" x 4-1/8"
Whisper White: 1-3/8' x 4"
Take the smaller Whisper White card and lay it onto the 5-1/4" x 4" Whisper White and stamp the tree trunk in Early Espresso ink. Now take the smaller Whisper White piece and put it on another surface and add the leaves. I stamped them three times without re-inking the stamp. Now attach the smaller Whisper White piece to the Indigo Island piece and attach it to the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals. The extra frame of the Indigo Island will cover up where your ink didn't touch the Whisper White base.
I stamped the sentiment of my choice below this and added some Wink of Stella to the leaves to give it some more "pop!"
I kind of redid the inside to match the outside. And there you go!

I love the bold look of this card. Its kind of classy and flashy all at the same time. I used our new "Pop of Pink" designer series paper for the bold stripes and our new Layering Squares Framelits. The main sentiment is from the Cottage Greetings stamp set and the Happy Birthday and candle are from the Sprinkles of Life Stamp set. I used our markers to color the candle and then used the Wink of Stella in gold to also add to the flame to give it a little more sparkle.
I used the sentiment from Cottage greetings for the inside and added a few more candles to finish it off.
