Hope You're Feeling Special Today...

Here is a fun card with a little surprise on the inside.  It's a Triple Fold Drop Down card.

As you can see when you open up the card there is a flap on the inside that drops down.
And when you open it up all the way you can see the message on the inside.  Isn't that fun!
The measurements for the Pacific Point is 8-1/4" x 4-1/4" scored at 5-1/2".
The Whisper White is 10" x 3-3/4" scored at 5" and a second Whisper White at 2-1/4" x 3-3/4" 

And here it is with an envelope to match - ready to send some love to someone special.

Just Breathe

Do you ever feel like you just need to "chill" for a moment and "just breathe?"  In our crazy lives sometimes it feels good to slow things down a bit to make room for air.  This card makes me think of that.
I got the background look by taking one of our clear block and directly putting ink from the ink pad right onto the block.  I used Crumb Cake, Marina Mist and Soft Sky ink pads.  I then spritzed it with some water and let the inks bleed into each other.  Then I used the clear block as the stamp and stamped it right onto the paper.
I also am loving our new Glimmer Enamel Dots which really kind of finished this off. 
  
Here is what I added to the inside.  I want to be reminded daily that truly, life is a beautiful thing!!  A gift!

Masculine Happy Birthday Blog Waddle


Welcome to your next stop of the Stray Ducklings Waddle.



Our theme this time was to create a masculine card so immediately I thought of our Wood Textures Designer Series Paper Stack.  That made a great back drop for our Happy Birthday Thinlits.  I cut it out twice, once in Cherry Cobbler and once in Early Espresso and put them together off setting them slightly to create a shadow effect.  This is where our new Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets work like a charm!  Using our Silicone Craft Sheet to line them up works really well too.  A few of our enamel shapes and this card is good to go!

On the inside I layered Very Vanilla cardstock over some Cherry Cobbler cardstock and it gave it a nice finished look.

Why, Thank You

Here's a sweet little thank you card.  It's made from one of our new stamp sets Pieces & Patterns.  In many ways the Pick A Pattern Designer Series Paper is the star of the show but the little flower mimicking the paper thats added to the sentiment ties it all together nicely.

Here is what I did for the inside.  Just a little something to carry through from the front of the card under the sentiment.

I did the same design on the envelope and now I have a sweet little thank you card to go out the door.  ðŸ˜‰
