Orange Happy Birthday

One of the perks of being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator is that we get a publication that comes out only for us.  It is loaded with wonderful ideas.  This card was one of them.  As soon as I saw this card I knew I had to get the stamp set and make my own version of it.  I just loved how the wood grain and the oranges complement each other.  And the enamel dots just finish it off nicely.

And the inside is just fun and unexpected.  If you want access to great card ideas like this and want to consider joining Stampin' Up! contact me.  I'd love to have you on my team.

Twinkle, Twinkle

Even though so many parents these days know before their baby is born if it will be a boy or a girl, we sometimes still need those non gender specific cards in our stash.  I love this precious baby on the moon.  To soften up the colors I took my Stampin' Write markers and colored on one of our acrylic blocks for our stamps.  I was using it as a paint palette this time.  From the acrylic block I took our aqua painters and grabbed the color and then colored it onto the stamped image.  I did use our Shimmery White cardstock for this even though it's hard to see in the picture.  By using our aqua painter I was able to get  a gradient of color on the moon which I was going for.

Here is just another angle of the card.  You can see that I lifted up the Pear Pizzazz card stock with Stampin' Dimensionals.

And of course you have to have something sweet on the inside so here is what my card looks like.

Dahlia

This dahlia stamp is one of our larger stamps and sometimes it can seem overwhelming but stamped with some of it going off the paper really makes a beautiful statement and a bold look.  Paired with some of our Designer Series paper I really loved how this came out.

As sympathy cards are so difficult to write, I love it that we have a stamp set that helps us with the wording.  I hope you don't need a sympathy card but if you do, here is one for you.  And you can also just change the sentiments and this can be a wedding or birthday card too.  Have fun creating.

This Little Piggy

How do you not just fall in love with this little piggy.  He reminds me of the pig from Charlotte's Web.
I stamped the pig twice.  Once on the Whisper White piece that is cut out with our Stitched Shapes and then once on Powder Pink card stock.  I fussy cut the pig on the Powder Pink card stock and attached him over the stamped Whisper White square.  (Paper piecing).  The nose and the ears were colored using the Powder Pink Stampin' Write marker and it just gives him a little more definition.
Just a simple inside but I think it was enough.  Enjoy!
