I'm in the mood for summer and all that it entails. Of course ice-cream is a big part of that. Here is just a fun card bringing in the happy summer feelings.
As you can see I mirrored the inside to coordinate with the outside. Also, I used my fine tip glue pen and put random dots across the front of the card and then dumped the container of sprinkles embellishments over top of it. I let whatever wanted to connect with the card "do it's thing".
Here is what the inside looks like. I used the Tasty Treats washi tape across the bottom to bring in more ice-cream fun!
A dear friend just announced that she was expecting her first child so I wanted to send her a card to let her know how happy I was for her and her husband. This was the perfect set for the occasion!
It's such a sweet stamp set and this card is really basic but it gets the point across.
Here is what I did on the inside. What a joy to welcome a new little one into the world that is loved before it even arrives!!
It's always difficult to get Wink of Stella to show up in photography but I added it to the sleeper and also the stars behind the baby. It looks better in real life. Trust me. 😀
I haven't tried this basket weave fold in a LONG time but this card called for it so it was fun to pull that old trick out of the hat again. I pulled the colors for the hot air balloon right off of the Designer Series Paper to make it all go together.
And here is the fun inside of the card. You also get another peek of what the basket weave looks like from another angle.
The measurements for the Designer Series Paper is 5-1/2" x 3-1/4" and the Whisper White on the inside is 5-14" x 3" and the Whisper White tag is 3-1/4" x 1".
