Sending Smiles

This card intrigued me because there was no stamping on the front at all.  This one used our Floral Affection embossing folder to highlight the show.  Then it was about layering the paper and also embossing the raised edges of the first Daffodil Delight layer with the Simply Scored tool.  How fun is that!

Well - I did have to do a LITTLE stamping so here is what I did on the inside.

Perfect Day

For this month's card ministry at my church this is the card that I came up with.  I used Calypso Coral and Peekaboo Peach as the colors for the card stock and the flowers with Pear Pizzazz and Old Olive for the leaves.
The Whisper White background was stamped first using Early Espresso ink and the Timeless Textures stamp set.  I then ran it through the Big Shot using the Brick Wall embossing folder.  Next I used Crumb Cake ink and stamped the Watercolor Wash stamp (stamped off once) onto the brick wall.
The sentiment was stamped in Early Espresso on a Whisper White piece cut out using our Layering Ovals framelits cut out with the Big Shot.
The petals and leaves were curled using the bone folder then I added 2 Stampin' Dimensionals behind each one to keep the curved look.
This stamp is from a VERY OLD stamp set called Say it With Scripture that I've kept in my collection forever and it was perfect because our pastor uses this scripture to begin our worship service almost every week.

Let Us Celebrate

Here is a fun and fast birthday card for either a guy or a gal.  I love how the stamp set allows us to make a neat background by just randomly stamping the circles on the Whisper White card stock.  The Dapper Denim balloon was stamped directly onto the card stock but the Soft Sky and Marina Mist balloons were stamped on scrap pieces and punched out and added to the card front using Stampin' Dimensionals.  The black baker's twine is the perfect finishing touch.
Here is what I did for the inside of the card.  Yup - love it when the stamp set has stuff we can put into the inside to finish it off!
