For All You Do

When I first saw this stamp set I wasn't sure about it but as I got playing with it I have to say I really fell in love with it.  The way it is designed, it almost gives you the feeling of another layer of paper even though it's not really there.
I used the Stampin' Blends to color the images and then went back with the Ivory Bends and outlined all the images.  It gave it more depth and I really like how it came out.  A few pearls scattered around really brought it all together.

Here is what I added to the inside of the card to finish it off.

How Beautiful

I love it when we can create a card with stamps that are enhanced by our Designer Series Paper.  And I think that is exactly what this card does.  Just a little bit of the paper peeking out from behind really enhances the front images.

And since the paper is so pretty I added a strip of it on the inside to keep the "pretty" going.

Life is a Beautiful Thing

Even though the kids around here have gone back to school I'm still cherishing the summer and enjoying every minute of it.  Snow will be here before we know it so I want to enjoy the warmth while it's still here.
I love the subtleness that the Pinewood Planks embossing folder gives to the background of this card.  It's a simple card but reflects the quiet feeling and the adirondack chair gives you a feeling of calm.  Don't we all need a little more of that?  And I love our metallic pearls.  They are the perfect finishing touch to the one flower at the top.

I added a few of the stamped images of the flower on the inside of the card that reflects the one on the front of the card that is actually die cut.

August Paper Pumpkin

These are the beautiful cards that came in this month's Paper Pumpkin kit.  I love them!  The cards went together so quick and easily and the only stamping necessary was the sentiment on the front.  We had some choices but these are the ones I went with.  So often we need sympathy cards and have no idea what to say.  I thought this one on the right was spot on.

In the kit came some beautiful vellum leaves that went behind the words and also some baker's twine that matched the gorgeous flowers.  The sentiment was then lifted up with Stampin' Dimensionals.

It also came with these gorgeous envelopes.  They will also be featured in the Holiday catalog that will be coming out next month but we get a sneak peek at them with this kit. They are stunning!

You don't want to miss next month's Paper Pumpkin.  They are teasing us with this cute flyer so jump on the wagon now and get signed up for your monthly subscription.  Click here or contact me if you have any question.
