Sadly we all need to have sympathy cards in our stash as we never know when we will have need of one. Although Lovely As A Tree has been around FOREVER it seems to still be a wonderful set as a "go to" for so many occasions. If you don't already own it, you'll want to be sure to add it to your collection.

You're How Old?
I was fortunate enough to go to the Card Buffet of a dear friend to make this fun card. Melinda Russell designed this. Little secret - she had designed this card as a Valentine originally but repurposed it into a birthday card. How clever, right?

Thank You Lotus Blossom
This Lotus Blossom Set in the Sale-A-Bration catalog has been a real hit and a favorite. It has a little bit of a learning curve with stamping off on some of the last stamps (it's 3 stamps stamped one on top of the other to create the depth in the flower) but it's a real gem one you get it down and it has a real WOW factor. I love how the Spring Flowers embossing folder really adds to the whole effect of the card.

I'm So Sorry
One of the gals that comes to our Card Buffets has a wonderful ministry of taking service dogs into the hospital to visit with patients that are there. You should hear the great stories that she has of how her dog and others have brought so much comfort to some of the patients there that are dealing with so much. Sadly with her profession, she sees the loss of pets more that most of us so she requested a pet sympathy card to be a part of the selection of our cards. I went on line to check out possibilities and thanks to Jessica Taylor's web site I came up with the above. It was a hit!

Happy St. Patrick's Day
We have a Card Ministry at our church and I was asked to design a St. Patrick's Day card that could be used to send out to some of our senior members. I grabbed some of my discontinued Gumball Green paper and came up with a design using 4 hearts put together to form a clover with a smaller heart over the top to make it "pop" a little. When that project was done - and I forgot to take pictures - I had a ton of hearts left over so I thought it would be fun to put them together to create another card so this is what I came up with using my leftovers. I love when I can use leftovers!
