Valentine Treats

I made a version of these last year but after seeing them on a blog this year I knew I wanted to make some more.  Anyway, I had a bag of Ghirardelli treats in my closet just begging to get dressed up!
Our Love Blossoms paper stack come in 6" x 6" and it is the perfect size to make these.  I cut them into thirds, 2" x 6, used our Scalloped Topper punch on each end and they came together in a flash!  I did use a glue dot to hold the Ghirardelli treat in place.  These will be great to have during this season when we want to give someone a little "somethin' somethin'".

And here is a full heart shaped plate full of the treats just ready to get passed out.

Snow Place Like Home

Here is an adorable card I saw on the display board at On Stage Live in Milwaukee in November.  I thought it was so cute and had to make one myself.  I just love that little penguin.  And with our framelits it's a snap to get the shape of the cutting done!

The igloo was made using the Ovals Collection Framelits.  I used both the largest and smallest ovals to create the igloo.  I then ran it through the Big Shot again using the Brick Wall embossing folder, then cut the ovals in half and I had 2 igloos!  I carried the snowflakes in to the inside to keep the snow theme going.

Here is what the whole inside looks like.  Ta da!

Artistically Awesome Friend

Well, I had the Awesomely Artistic stamp set sitting out anyway so I wanted to give it another whirl.  I remember years ago doing collage stamping but hadn't tried it in a long time so I thought I'd give it another go.
I liked the look of carrying over the collage idea to the Wisteria Wonder card stock base and adding some flowers to that piece also to make it pop a little more.
The Project Life Cards & Labels Framelits work fabulously to cut out the shape of the "Friend" label.  I just LOVE our framelits!!

The flowers were the perfect accent to carry onto the inside of the card to give it the finished look.

Dragonfly Birthday

I've seen many versions of this card and each time it appealed to me so I finally sat down and gave it a whirl.  I ended up really liking it!  After stamping the images on the card stock (5-1/4" x 4" Whisper White), I went back with a sponge dauber and filled in some of the white space with the sponging to give it a nice soft look.
After stamping the dragonfly in Marina Mist I went back filled in his wings with a Mint Macaron marker.  Then I went over the wings with a 2-Way Glue Pen and sprinkled on some Dazzling Diamonds.  Add the Rhinestones and you really have some great "bling" going on there!

Of course I had to add another dragonfly on the inside to give it a little interest in there too!
