This is a great card that can be made using a number of our Sale-A-Bration goodies. The ribbon and the paper are all items that can be earned for FREE during our Sale-A-Bration time - which is RUNNING OUT!
I also ordered some bottle caps on line that I put through the Big Shot and flattened for a little extra flair for this card. It was just what this card needed.
I added some more of our Designer Series Paper from the same pack to line the bottom of the card on the inside along with the birthday greeting.
CASED from Kelly Acheson.
Here is a pretty card that I saw on line and I wanted to give it a whirl. This stamp is supposed to have the look of photography - in fact Stampin' Up! has a patent pending on this process - so I though it would look pretty to have it on glossy paper to give it the look of a photograph.
The edges of the larger Lots of Love die cut has been sponged on the edges with Pool Party ink.
I also added the stamp to the corner of the inside to tie it all together.
CASED from Connie Stewart.
If you have a teenager or someone who is into music in your life, here is your card. This stamp set is a great FREE offering from our Sale-A-Bration that you'll want to take advantage of.
I used our Blends to color the individual items and fussy cut the guitar and have him lifted with our foam strips.
Here is what I put in the inside of the card.
This last fall I was fortunate enough to go to OnStage in Utah (our company convention) and I saw Brian King demonstrate this card. I thought it was so cute and wanted to give it a try myself. It is a 4-1/4" x 4-1/4" square card which is also fun.
Here is what the inside looks like.
To color the bird, he used sponge daubers. He first stamped the bird image on another piece of cardstock, cut it out with an exact knife and then placed it over the stamped image on the front of the card and using sponge daubers quickly colored the bird. Honestly, it goes together so quickly this way and I love the effects of the sponge daubing. I hope you'll have fun making one too!
