Let's Celebrate

One of my dear friends loves the color orange so whenever I am working with a card of that color it makes me think of her (Kim, that's you!).  So here is a card I had with her in mind when I was working on it.
I love how our Large Polka Dot embossing folder kind of mimics the lights in string of lights.  A quick color with our Stampin' Write Markers and you've got a cute card.

It was so easy to make an envelope to match the card too.  A small string of lights and you are good to go!

And of course I had to add a bit more on the inside too.  ðŸ˜ƒ

Fiesta

I love how this card worked out with the little piñata hanging and swinging on his own.  I cut him out of the Festive Birthday Designer Series Paper and just added a Stampin' Dimensional to attach him to the twine but left the back of the dimensional on so it wouldn't stick to the card.
For the Designer Series Paper, I cut it at 4" x 4" then cut a diagonal line and separated them allowing me to stamp the sentiment between the two pieces.

I love how I was able to bring the outside design of the card to the inside using the matching stamps.  That's one of the things I really love about Stampin' UP! how all of our product coordinate so nicely!  I hope you can have making your own piñata card!

Hogs & Kisses

Some cards just make me smile.  This is one of them.  Such a simple card but I love the whimsey of it.
I did use our Red Foil paper which has retired but it could also look pretty with just our Real Red card stock.
The hearts are punch from our Confetti Heart Punch in both Red Glimmer Paper and Red Foil Paper and I used them both.  I used our fine tip glue pen to glue down the hearts.  The pigs were colored using our Stampin' Write Blushing Bride Marker.
The measurements for the card are:
Thick Whisper White - 8-1/2" x 5-1/2"
Red Foil - 3" x 4-1/4"
Whisper White - "2-7/8" x 4-1/8", 1-1/4" x 2-3/4" (3 of these)
Well, you KNEW I'd have to add a little piggy on the inside too!

Time to Chill

It's still cold here where I live so sending a card like this still works for me.  This is just one of those fun and silly cards.  I stamped the snowmen starting at the top right off from the right side and stamped them with the heads touching the bodies of the next one.  I then fussy cut along the right side of their bodies to create an edge.  The bow ties and scarf were stamped separately and cut out along with the stick hands using our die cuts.
Here you can see the edge that I put on the inside to show through with the card is closed.

This is more of a close up look to see the little guys with the background from the inside showing through.  I also colored their carrot noses using our Stampin' Write markers.

Celebrate You!

Here is a quick and fun card that can be used for many occasions.  I was inspired by a post by Connie Stewart and ran with it.  You can see I even decorated my envelope flap by adding a stamp to that.  I had some spare stars lying around so I grabbed those to add to my card and used the beautiful ribbon left over from our holiday catalog.

Here is what my inside looks like to kind of mirror the front of the card.

In case you are wondering where in the world I got the stamp to go around the words, I took our photopolymer stamp and just curved it on my block and stamped it twice, meeting the ends to create the oval look.  I love that our stamps can do this!
