Downline Meeting

Last night we had a wonderful downline meeting where we were able to share ideas and make some fun new projects.  We first made these luminaries using our Velum Card Stock.  We embossed some cute snowflakes on them from the Endless Wishes stamp set and White Embossing Powder and used the Star Confetti Punch at the top.

Suzanne Knutson brought a great idea to the group of how to shade the stars to make them look 3-D.  It's simple but a real "WOW" factor to your projects.

Mary Booker brought the cute idea of making these "cracker boxes" and even brought candy to fill them!  The size of paper you start with is exactly the size of our paper stacks so what a great idea to use those paper stacks!

We also talked about using the Note Tag punch to create different shaped openings.  Start with a sheet of card stock 3-1/4" x 3-1/4" and just slide your punch in all the way and center it.  Then turn the card stock, slide your punch in all the way and line it up with the last cut to get your effect.

Thanks for a great evening gals and I look forward to our next get together!
