Some cards just put a smile on my face and this is one of them. It's just fun. I love the bright colors of this card and it makes me think of a fun summer day with a cold soda pop. Wow - I think I'm showing my age!!
I cut the 3 bottles out using the Big Shot and used sponge daubers to color the 3 bottles. I used coordinating cardstock to cut out the bottle tops. The sentiment is embossed onto the black cardstock using white embossing powder.
And just for fun I added the bubbles along the edge of the inside edge using the same colors.
Well, today is my hubby and my 38th wedding anniversary so it seems appropriate to post a wedding card today. I love the intricacy of this Springtime Impressions Thinlits. It really makes a WOW factor. I used Shimmery White cardstock to cut out the flowers and it really is lovely. The tag for the front sentiment is cut out using the Petals and More Thinlits - another big hit in my book.
And you know I always love it when our stamp sets also give us wording for the inside. This was just perfect for this card!
This is a little bit of a fun fold card. It's a little unusual in that the framed image in the front also is the place to write you message on the inside. I love the masculine look of this and I'm loving this new Designer Series Paper.
Here is a view from the side so you can see the part that lifts up.
And here is a view of the inside of the card once it is opened up fully.
CASED from Susie Wood.
I find that Cajun Craze isn't a color I often reach for but I loved how this one turned out. I think the outline of the flower in Cajun Craze accompanied by the Grapefruit Grove flower color really compliments it nicely. I'm loving using vellum to softly add a nice texture of leaves using our leaf punch.
I used a strip of Tear & Tape to hold the Burlap Ribbon in place and just cut it flush with the Cajun Craze strip below it.
I love when our stamp sets have coordinating words that we can add to the inside of our cards so here is what I did for the inside.
